We’ll use local anaesthetic when placing your dental implants, so you won’t feel any pain during your treatment. We also often use sedation when undertaking longer treatments, so you’ll be comfortable and relaxed throughout.
After treatment and once the anaesthetic has worn off, you will probably experience tenderness and swelling at the site of treatment. This should wear off after 1-2 weeks, and you can use painkillers such as ibuprofen or paracetamol to help if they are safe for you medically.
If pain persists, or you think you’re in more pain than you should be, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the team.
